Overview of Child First Funding
Child First, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in Connecticut. Child First, Inc. is the legal name of the National Program Office which oversees the replication and implementation of the Child First model. The NPO is funded by private and public grants, contracts, and fee income from Affiliate Agencies who contract with Child First, Inc. to implement the model and maintain fidelity.
Affiliate Agencies are funded through a variety of public and private funding sources. Child First works with state and other partners to develop sustainable sources of funding for ongoing operations of Child First services offered by Affiliate Agencies.
